Hetero Biopharma organized Cancer Survivors day gatherings across Asia and Africa
Hetero Biopharma, biologics arm of Hetero has structured Cancer Survivors day activities across the emerging markets of Asia and Africa on 7th June for the first time, with the theme Celebration of life.
Cancer Survivors Day is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community
With a strong motto to reach maximum number of survivors across the regions, Hetero Biopharma has organized activities under initiative SAPP(Spreading Awareness among Prescribers & Patients) engaging Oncologists, cancer survivors and family members in co-ordination with renowned cancer institutes in emerging markets
More than 30+ Oncologist, nursing staff connected to 100+ cancer survivors through multiple engagement drives viz “E connecting the warriors” engaging the Oncologists and the participants over zoom call discussed the advances in treatment and follow up care in cancer. “Celebration of life” through which survivors were provided with a bouquet and fruit basket to wish them a long life. A letter drafted on behalf of oncologist was given to patients on the fighting spirit the patients has shown to win the battle with
Amidst Covid-19 pandemic, Biosimilar business specialist (BBS) our front-end team from Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Cambodia has efficiently organised the activities. These activities has strengthened the professional relationship with Oncologists and boosted the confidence on the organisation. This has also created an opportunity to interact with patients and their families and to build confidence on healthcare industry cancer. Most of the HCPs and patients has expressed their happiness for organising such an event by connecting doctor and patients.
